Swindon Open Studios has now ended for 2025. But don't worry, we hope to be back next year. Here is a glimpse of the exhibitors who shared the magical Mulberry Gardens in 2025.

The magical Mulberry Gardens is open once again for a free art exhibition. With four resident artists and four special guests, there will be plenty to see. Enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake in the Potting Shed Café and take part in our treasure trail to win an amazing prize.

The scale of things 1:6 scale radio controlled truck by Podpadstudios

The scale of things. A unique opportunity to see 1:6 scale models not displayed at Swindon Open Studios before.

Created by Podpadstudios, and produced for film, TV and exhibitions. Come along and find out how we build scale models for film, and enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake in our sculpture garden.

Zozo Thomas

Bags are more than just containers; they are vessels of memory, function and artistry. In “Bags of Art”, Zozo Thomas combines fabric, pattern and novel storage in a collection of handcrafted textiles that fuse utility with beauty. Pieces range from patchwork wall pockets to embroidered bags, miniature totes to oversized pin cushions. All set within the magical Mulberry Gardens.

Spellbound Arts and Bakes are a two-person team who have far too much ADHD between them. Kiki and Sparky will quite often wonder “Will this work?” which is how they have created their portfolio of Cemeterariums, stickers, cards, bookmarks, and even croc charms, all with an alternative twist.

Add to that the incredible cakes Kristýna makes, and it’s a winning team!

Jan and Geoff Art

Cuddly DNA chemistry with the Dinky Amigos

Fun, illustrated books aimed at 3 years and upwards set the vital information about genetics and DNA into a story form, which is much easier for young minds to understand.

Theresa Dowdeswell

Theresa mostly works with slipcast porcelain, making moulds of items (including some that hold memories) to produce tealights, lamps, vases, bowls and mugs. Cityscapes, lighthouses and hearts, plus random ideas are expressed in drawn and pierced work. Hand-building, throwing and tile-making also feature in her work.
